I have talked to a man on here for over a year and it's always been light hearted and friendly.. I've never seen him in person, never heard his voice, just emails.. I've begun lately to think about him more than I should.. We are both married and have not discussed a meeting.. We live very far away.. Anyway, I think maybe I'm just thinking this but the other day, I woke up and could not wait to talk to him.. I think I'm falling in love with someone I've only emailed.. It's crazy and I know it's impossible.. I stopped talking to him altogether now because I know what I'm feeling is wrong or strange.. I will miss him so terribly but I can no longer subject myself to being in love with another man.. Although I know nothing would ever come of it.. What your feeling is not 'weird' or 'strange' because they are your honest feelings.. I myself used to use a dating website (www..plentyoffish..com) and I *thought* I found 'The One' on it.. I know exactly how you feel, it's so easy to fall in love with someone online because they seem so perfect.. It's certainly not impossible either, but I think that it stems from being lonely or unhappy.. I finally met the guy and we dated in real life, but it wasn't long before I realized there was a whole other picture.. Sometimes even the person you are talking to could be the total opposite of what you think (even a woman!) I would keep talking to him if he helps you feel from feeling lonely, but I would also try to fill the void in your life and think very carefully..Health Question & Answer
