Phobias are caused by past unfavorable experiences and associations with them. Possibly when you were very young, you got super sick and threw up and it scared the hell out of you..
Maybe you are super afraid of getting ill, and you carry tums around with you idk..
The most successful treatment is called systematic desensitization...
Where a psychiatrist will tell you a list of things that make you afraid pertaining to vomitting and you will label from a scale of 1-100 how fearful you are of these things.. And over some visits and practice, you will move up the list from 1 being slightly afraid to 100 being very afraid.
Eventually your reaction to 1 will be much closer to 100, meaning you will be less afraid of this.
Just thinking about it doesn't always help, but this is the most successful system out there.. no drugs, no prescriptions, it's all in your head and you got to smooth it out, that's all.Health Question & Answer

Well a think phobias like yours are caused by bad experiences. To get over them people say that for eg if your scared of say spiders the bes way to get over your fear is to actually hold a spider. Poeple say it works. So maybe if you feel like vomiting and after just think of the relief after you feel better. Or you could try hypnatism (however you spell it) I hope you get over your fear.
