As for the Islamic extremists who carried out the attacks, I've written them off. After all, you can't have a rational discussion with someone who thinks that the Holocaust didn't happen, and who cuts off his wife's hands if she doesn't cover her face.
I'm talking about individuals born and raised right here in America, who say that "we had it coming" when they talk about the 9/11 attacks.
Whatever alleged "injustices" the U.S. may or may not have committed over the years, there is NO moral equivalency for the 9/11 attacks. Absolutely none.
I'm at a loss as to how to have a logical discussion with delusional people who insist we deserved the attacks. I guess the best thing to do is just walk away. They simply can't be reasoned with.

I am not an American. I'm a Muslim,infact. America did NOT deserve that. No matter what they ever did,killing 3000 people is unacceptable. It literally makes me sick to my stomach thinking about it. Every once in awhile,people will call me a terrorist or blame me for 9/11. I just laugh it off and ignore them. They are ignorant enough to not know the difference between a Muslim and a terrorist.

If there are people out there (the extremists) who love their wives and families, but can still fly planes into a building full of innocent people, why is it so hard to believe there are people out there who either just don't care about the victims, or believe America deserved the attacks.?
I would want to talk to the extremists and those who believe 9/11 was deserved, get inside their heads and find out WHY they think the way they do, but I am best described as disturbed.
