Question: Can i claim disability if i'm depressed.?
i know for a fact that it interferes with my work but i want to know if there's any way to get at least a small paycheck while i get help so that i can help my mother with the bills, to make sure you believe what i'm saying , about a few months ago i had to leave my brand new job, i had only been there for a like an hour when all of a sudden i had like that uncontrollable tears feeling in my eyes, i had to make up some lie about how someone in my family had just passed away, but i couldn't bring myself to go back to that place.Health Question & Answer

Disability can be claimed if you are seeing a psychologist and they can sign off on it. It is not an easy thing to do and it takes time. Sounds like you just need to be on medication and things will get better. See a local therapist, they really help!Health Question & Answer
One incident of crying does not add up to being depressed. Since you haven't worked in a couple of months, why haven't you already seen some one and gotten some kind of diagnosis. If you were found to be depressed you should already be on medication, and back to finding a job to help your mom out, instead of trying to find a way to to feed off tax payers dollars.
