Depression, as in mental illness, is completely different from an economic depression, although economic depressions do tend to make people feel bad.
I think we are going into an economic depression, we've been going into it with job cuts, etc.
Save up as much money as you can, and make sure that you stay secure in your job by focusing your energy on your company's goals.
