I also suffer from panic attacks and anxiety. My heart races really fast too, to the point where I am breathless and dizzy. Have you ever been treated for anxiety.? I suffered for years before I finally had enough and talked to my doctor about it. It was a pride thing for me. I thought I should be able to control my own thoughts. Sometimes you just need outside help. Medications and counseling have helped me greatly. I hope you find some relief soon!Health Question & Answer

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc.

The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced... you have that "learned behavior" in your mind. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction... There are several other techniques to help cope them!
Ok, to use Distraction: Firstly, try to....

Hi BJ,

It is something that you now have to accept and accept sooner rather than later. Do you think that perhaps the equipment is not working properly or that the competence of the doctors is not up to standard or that they just can't yet detect the problem with your heart.?

What else do you fear around you.? Meeting people or perhaps generally believe people are out to get at you.? Not a lot to go on in your brief outline.Health Question & Answer

Because when you experience a panic attack it sometimes feels like a heart attack.I went through a period when I was having attacks and calling 911 a few times a week. Like you always nothing but anxiety.
Check with you doctor about Acid Relux that can cause that anxious feeling / chest pains ..
Breathing exercises work when the panic attack starts. relax, meditate .. Take a few minutes to let it pass.
