Has anyone had a classmate, family member, friend etc that committed suicide?!

my best friend in middle school was supposed to come sleep over at my house and she didnt show up so i called her mom and she told me that she had killed herself just a couple hours before and they were at the hospital... i cried for days and the funeral was the hardest thing to see

I have had 6 friends and 2 family members commit suicide in the past 3 years. It is very distressing and you can not possibly understand unless you have lost someone to it. People can shrug it off but it shouldnt be. i myself have tried twice and although i know it would not have solved anything that was how my life was at that time. thank god i didnt because i would not have the beautiful little girl i have at the moment. I would also advise you to think about how you deal with people who know these people. I have people say stupid things that are not funny and are distasteful, they may not know but people who are deceased should be spoken about in a respectful manner so be careful about how you bring this subject up in your town.

Unfortunately I've had friends who committed suicide and was murdered, including my first love and girlfriend, Stacy. I've actually helped my best friend Chris make a noose to make his room look cooler, so he said, and he asked me to get him a drink and so I did. I came back and he was hangin from the ceiling. When i was in 8th grade a kid in my class hung himself

In highschool a boy with muscular dystrophy died
- a boy in my gym class dies due to heart failure
- my good friends brother shot himself
