Question: Frightened of mirrors..?
Basically, I know that it's stupid, but I can't look at my own reflection in the mirror. It hasn't always been like this, and I can mostly put on my makeup if I don't think about it. But... whenever I even take a passing glance at my reflection I get the shivers... like, I keep imagining the picture over and over again. And it changes and moves. I've tried facing it, you know.? By staring at my reflection, concentrating on breathing deeply, but I got tinnitus and started hallucinating. Not elephants, but rather that my face was folding... but also like it was a monster.

I don't think it is common, but many people have unusual fears like this. I would go to a therapist if I were you. You have a phobia which is almost impossible to cure yourself.
