Well...you really need to find some anger management classes or a counselor. They really do work if you stick with it. You don't want to get worse do you.? You can eventually become enraged, or even black out and completely loose that temper and take out the stress on someone in a fatal way. When you do that, you can't control yourself in any kind of way, something just takes over. You are way too stressed out and things are getting to you, which makes it serious. Go get some help, you're a good person and you deserve to have a life. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

It's seems to me like your "glass" is full and the slightness "extra drop" makes it "overflow".

Some people are more prone to having volatile temper. They get irritated easily (I'm one of those persons...).What you need to do is, resource yourself. What I mean by that is, you need to take some time for you...to do "stuff" you like (and to let go of everything else that bothers you when you spend these times doing "stuff" for you.)

If you are like me, you are very logical, and feel guilty when you spend time relaxing or just "lounging around". But you need to learn to be less demanding on yourself. You are most probably aiming for perfection and get frustrated when you fail. But the fact is, perfection doesn't exist. We all do mistake and, to error is to be human.

Learn to let go. Being serious and goal oriented is a good thing but, just like everyone else, you need to have hobbies and time to have fun in life. I totally understand what you mean about "going off on your friends and then wishing you were dead"...you hurt the people you love the most and then guilt/regret is eating you up!! That's why you need to find another way of releasing your "built-up" anger.

I don't know what are your interest so it's hard for me to give you ideas...But basically, if you like reading then take time to do it, if you like doing physical activities then go out and do it...(personally I find that "kicking a ball" really releases my anger...especially when I "project" what makes me mad on the ball !!LOL).

It's always usefull aslo to learn relaxation techniques. Some like yoga, some like meditation, some listen to relaxation music. The thing that worked the best for me was: mindfulness. Basicaly, it ia about concentrating on ONE THING and letting everything out. You can concentrate on physical stuff like: a candle, a picture, etc. Or, you can concentrate on your breathing. The main point is to focus on one thing and only one.

It sounds silly and easy but it isin't !! You will need to practice for a few minutes everyday and then slowly you will be able to do it easely. You mind will be prone to gettting you "off track". You will be focus then your mind will jump on all the other stuff (like the things you need to do: homework, cleaning your room, doing your laudry, etc.) When that happens, you need to refocus on your concentration and go back to your mindfulness. And the amising thing about this is that when you will have mastered mindfulness, you will be able to use it any where at any time! (like "switching" off as you need it...)

I hope this will help you. I added a web site that explains more about mindfulness and will help you understand it better.

PS: I will also add a web site that really helped me in focusing on being positive and "channeling" good positive vibes.

Good luck ;)Health Question & Answer
