Question: I've been very angry lately.?
not at school, when i'm at my friends house, with friends or anything. just at my moms house, i am very angry. everything bugs me. my little sister, older sister and my mom. when they make me get off the computer. when they nag me to do chores. i'm just automatically in an *** hole mood. i'm not usually like this, just like the past 3 days. any illness or something that you could think of.? ......Health Question & Answer

Depending on your age, it's probably just hormones. Otherwise ask yourself if there has been a recent emotional upheaval in the home lately. If so, you need to talk about it and work through it. If not, then you need to ask yourself what things make you upset and get to the bottom of your anger. Anger in a home is like bucket of gas just waiting on a match to come along. It can be very explosive. If something is wrong in your home, you may need to talk to someone who can help you work this out. Don't ask another teenager, ask an adult or someone in charge like a teacher or counselor. Look deep inside and find out what is really making you angry. I think you need some bonding time with people around you, when you're on the computer or doing something that's not deemed productive others feel as if you want to neglect them and would rather do that. Perhaps something happened that you were irritated with and you don't want to explode on people so you do those things, there is a problem with communication with family here. Well i'd like to know how old you are, I recall when i was about 12-16 i had that sort of what your talking about, It begins with anger and than kinda chills out and turns into heavy depression. Your perfectly normal and if your a young man going through puberty that might also explain it. Your fine though everyone goes through a stage like what you said some handle it differently but it all boils down to one thing. Anger which developes into depression. Talk to someone real close to you, When i was going through this i spent the night at my cousins house every weekend and we talked almost daily. Maybe you're holding in all your emotions from something that just recently happened. Think about what started to bother you about a few days ago. You probably tend to avoid situations and hide your feelings which isn't healthy. Don't worry, I tend to do that, like I fight and run away from my feelings or pretend the situation never happened hoping that it will go away which I'll regret later. To put it metaphorically, I bury my toxic waste deep underground hoping that it will never ever seep back up, but it does, the toxic waste barrel starts to give in and it then leaks and creates a health hazard and an explosion--this is a lot like how bottling up our emotions work, which is really bad. So my point here is that the sooner you confront your problems and deal with them, you'll feel better a lot sooner. The more you try to resist your feelings, the more it will come back and haunt you.
