This is my story.

I developed anorexia at the age of 12. 3 years later here I am still suffering. Everything else pretty much happened as a result of my Anorexia. I am hate myself, I have become isolated. I cannot cope with anything. I have anxiety when it comes to the smallest things. I have O.C.D, I use self harm, I have been suicidal before, and I am depressed. It doesn't get much better than this! (sarcasm) but love, i want you to know that everything happens for a reason and that as hopeless as things might seem right now, you need to know that one day everything will workout. I really hope things start looking up for you soon.

take care.<3Health Question & Answer

While I think that Leigh is on to something with thinking positively, I would also recommend a good therapist (Psychologist or "MFT" which is a Marriage and Family Therapist.) Therapy, combined with medication and thinking positively will help you. Will you ever be "normal.?" Are any of us ever really "normal.?" Normal is subjective. But if you're asking if you will be able to function again, I would say it will depend on the level and quality of help you receive.Health Question & Answer

Don't be afraid of failure. What is success to you.? To me it's just the ability to be happy. So if you can be a positive, flexible person and do your best to stay optimistic, hopeful, and positive no matter what happens in your life, then you would be doing more than many people will have ever been able to do. Don't "suffer" your life. Enjoy it. Good luck.Health Question & Answer

I think it's possible, but it might take some time. In the meanwhile, try to stay active and do the things that you normally would do. However, don't overdo it either! Go out once in a while with friends even if you may not feel up to it. Keep your goals in mind and work torward them. I've heard exercising helps too. Health Question & Answer
