Do i have a mental issue?!

Question: Do i have a mental issue.?
My other question had too many details. so i shortened it.
Symptons:

-Scared of hallways, turned off T.Vs. the dark, and empty space. dolls, ect. Even the eyes on a stuff animal...[ crazy right.? ]
-can stay still for a long period of time, like space out but more intense, like my whole self is empty and if im not careful,..i would stay like that forever.
-I am a cutter. But GAWD please dont mistake me for an over-dramatic, dark eyeliner emo chick. seriously, I dress normal and i hardly even wear make up.
-I dont like to hang out with people anymore, not even my bestest friends.
I am constantly thinking. ALL THE TIME. EVERY MINUTE OF MY WAKING LIFE. I have strange thoughts of death that are usually gory and bloody. Like if im in a car, i would imagine it crashing and splitting my body in two. But i dont go into a panic attack. And they're not premonitions or anything, they dont come true, even though it's so real to me it seems like it already did. And some of these thoughts arnt even about me. sometimes i imagine gory deaths for people around me. But it's not as if i WANT it to happen to them. i would worry about them afterwards..Even now when im writting this i am thinking of these kind of things.
I am not a harm to others. I like to help people.
-You're gonna think this is madness, when i say this. I actually help people with their problems. As messed up as i am, people come to me for advice, comfort or for someone to just listen to them. [ none of them know about my problems ] How am i able to help others but not myself.? crazy world...
-I would somtimes think of something that i want to happen, then a couple days later, i would actually be convinced that it happened.
-And another thing is that..well...i dont really know how to explain this. I [kind of] see thing that are not there, but i see it in my head, not with my eyes...
-And..okay its 3 in the morning and i really dont want to scare the **** outta me but here it goes. Once, when i cried really bad. I felt someone's head on my shoulder. comforting me. but she looked like the girl from the ring.

I am scared, am i mental.? WILL i become harmful to others.? I need to know this. Please help. give me a name of an illness i think i have something...
please

Answers:
Yes, you do have a mental illness but don't be ashamed because you can't help it but there's many medications out there that can aid with it.I would recommend going to go see a psychiatrist and he'll find the right medications for you.It may take a few times to get it right but it will.I'm not here to make a diagnosis but I'm a psychiatric nurse and know that you do need help so that you can live a normal life without all of those fears and not cutting yourself. you need to talk to professional about this,Health Question & Answer

You are able to give advice to other people because you know there is something a-miss with yourself.

Sounds to me like you just have some phobias to overcome.
Many people have odd thoughts, they just don't say.

The reason why you alienate yourself from your friends is because you think there is something wrong with yourself.
Which also is the reason for the cutting.

Just realize even the most normal of people have the most unusual of thoughts.

Your'e not nutty.Health Question & Answer

It sounds like you are having a tough time. The first part of your problem question here had me thinking you might need professional help but the last part it got me to thinking this. Did you ever consider the that you might have physic abilities.? Perhaps all these problems that were suddenly foisted upon you might not be your problems but others thoughts you are picking up on.? The part in your problem where you console others seems to fit. I don't know what your beliefs might be but perhaps you should look into the physic end of it. All your problems might not be from within but from outside. I can come up with some suggestions if you want to continue on this track; if you don't, seeing a professional doctor would be the next best thing. Paranoia maybe.
You need to talk to a professional and seek help.
Don't be afraid just do it.
We are all a bit mental at times so this may be just a stage.
If you think it will just disappear IT WON'T!
So please be brave and ask for the help you need.Health Question & Answer

dont take any of this the wrong way but maybe you should talk to a counsellor, someone who doesnt have a biased view of you, that you can talk freely to.

you might just be going through a stage, everyone does. i'm sure you're fine, mental disorders arent always as bad as people make them out to be.

oh another thing, a large percentage of psychiatrists have some kind of mental disorder themselves.

just because you think differently doesnt make you mental. Health Question & Answer

what you have just explained to us about how you feel is very clear not so hard to understand the only bit i did not understand is when you said but she looked like the girl from the ring.

You certainly have some disturbance going on in your brain but I can not tell you what you have because I don't know, but I am feeling you and this must be a nightmare for you. Are you getting sleep at night.?

Im suggesting you print what you have just told yahoo and take it to your doctor, it was clear enough for your doctor to get a full picture of what is happening to you.

from what you explained in the texed you do not seem like a risk to anybody but you are right for being concerned and I do hope you book an appointment with your doctor today.Health Question & Answer
