I am unsure if I have a disorder?!

Question: I am unsure if I have a disorder.?
Lately, I've been noticing I am moving while I am sitting. I'm not sure if its just that I need to move cause I'm itching. My mom noticed this at the barber because my brother was getting his haircut, but I was just moving non stop. I didn't know I was. I may have thought tourettes syndrome, but I can control them to a point where I have to let it out or else it just doesn't feel right. Even when I'm taking notes I move in my seat just squirming to get out and about. You might say that I need a hobby, but I'm taking 2 sports right now . I go everyday for Gymnastics and Swimming. I have no clue to do right now. This has been going on for almost 4 years its getting more difficult to deal with and concentrate
Thanks for all the help guys!Health Question & Answer

The first thing that came to my mind was accute anxiety but it seem more than this. Could you be having small seizures because you are unaware of it. There are many neurological problems that could cause it but also many treatments so please have your family doctor recomment a neurologist and have a complete examination. Just a kid. No big deal.

If you look around discretely during class you'll notice lots of kids (and even many adults) who do this. It's not a disorder (unless you're a drug salesman, and then it's something to get really excited about).

It certainly could be Tourette's. also, if there are issues bothering you, it could be making you nervous. Next time you're at the doctor, ask.Health Question & Answer

Look into ADD or ADHD.... your doctor will know for sure though so don't sit around worrying about it... ask a professional, then you can get treatment if you need it =] Health Question & Answer

It's not a disorder, a lot of people are like this, trust me.Health Question & Answer

I highly doubt this is Tourettes. However, it may be a severe case of OCD (obsessive compulsion disorder). People with OCD crave to do something even though in our minds we don't want to.
Its really hard to get rid of these problems, but if you try your hardest to stop moving, you'll eventually stop.

You could be jitterish. Taking to much caffeine.? like coffee.? Coke or Pepsi.?
Or you could be in-taking too much sugar and you start to feel a "sugar rush" making you feel uncomfortable to sit still and making you want to just... move around.Health Question & Answer
