Question: Will new doctor re-prescribe old meds.?
I used to take Seroquel and it helped me a lot, but I've been off my meds and haven't seen a psyychiatrist in years. Well, next week I'm going to see a new psych at a different place. If I tell him I used to take Seroquel and it helped, will he be likely to re-prescribe it to me.?Health Question & Answer

Yes, but keep in mind there might be something he thinks may work better, so be open to hearing him out on why. You can be firm but you have to listen to his opinion, too. (I loved Seroquel but had to stop taking it when it gave me pancreatitis.) Health Question & Answer
