Should i go home from University?!

Question: Should i go home from University.?
I have Bipolar and i moved to university 3 weeks ago.

It started off ok but now i get extremely nervous and i don't want to leave my room, last night i got really drunk and wanted to kill myself, i don't know if it's affected my meds but i still feel suicidal today.

It's nearly 8pm and my last train home is at 9, i'm scared that if i stay here i'm going to do something stupid, shall i go home or wait and see.?

Sorry this isn't typed out very well.Health Question & Answer

If your scared your going to kill yourself, i wouldnt go home, i would call 911 for an ambulance to take you to the nearest hospital. from there they will take you to the psychiatric part of the hospital and get you stabalized on yoru medications again so that your not suicidal. dont take any chances, depression comes out of no where and can get you even if your in the best of moods.Health Question & Answer

Sweet, you are feeling low today because of the alcohol consumed yesterday. Alcohol is a depressant as you are aware and will make you feel sh!t for a couple of days. If you go home you will feel like a failure which will bring your mood lower so I suggest you tough it out. You'll be ok. Tomorrow is a new day and you will feel better about yourself as you have managed to stick it out. Don't give into your illness sweet or you will wast your whole lifeHealth Question & Answer

Hey

I was at university with mental health problems so I know how tuff it is. If you can't guarentee your safety you need to either go home, be around people or contact the out of hours gp and speak to them about how your feeling. I know how bad it can be to feel suicidal, I have been feeling it all week...just make sure your not alone.
It's best not to drink alcohol with anti-depressants as alcohol is a depressant in itself.

Best wishes

You already know that the drinking affected your bi-polar meds.
Don't do that again, just slow down, take your meds, and probably should tell someone. Talk to anyone until you can get to see a doctor, but getting drunk is definitely not the right answer.
Good LuckHealth Question & Answer

Since you are fearing you life and feeling suicidal I say go home. Be near those that can help you. Please don't drink on those meds it's asking for trouble. If you can't make it home get to an e.r. or somewhere you can be watched until you may feel better. Hang in there and good luck.Health Question & Answer
