Is this some relation to cutting yourself?!
Question: Is this some relation to cutting yourself.?
I noticed when I get depressed I don't actually take a knife to my wrist, because i'm terrified of when I see that its just disgusting to me. But I have sharp nails that I call "claws" and apparently when i'm really scared or something I will "claw-like" my arm but it doesn't show any signs of blood, it goes away in like 2 days.
Is this a sign of cutting myself.? Cause im actually really nervous or depressed when I do that.
**SIDE NOTE** I'm just asking this.. it's like a "yes" or "no" question. I don't need to hear, "go see a doctor!" or "talk to your parents immediately!" i'm just wondering && I don't do it often.Health Question & Answer

Yes, I think they're related. But what you do is much milder, not as self-destructive, not as dangerous. It might be easier for you to see how someone who is really desperate could be a cutter. Maybe you are afraid that if you get even more desperate you might start doing it.
It's normal, you know. It doesn't mean you're crazy. It's not even considered a problem, really, until it becomes dangerous or self-destructive.Health Question & Answer
