A good way to lesson your anxiety is to learn breathing and relaxation techniques.
Most people don't breathe properly; we tend to breathe from our chests instead of our abdomen, which makes our breath shallower and increases tension in our bodies. A good way to make sure you are breathing properly is to put one hand on your stomach and one hand on your chest; breathe in deeply from your stomach. Pay attention to which hand is moving- it should mainly be the one on your stomach, and the hand on your chest should only move a little and in concert with your other one. It may be easier to practice while lying down at first.

This can help both while you're having extreme anxiety and to *prevent* it from getting so bad as often. Health Question & Answer

Go to your pediatrician or doctor and get a referral to see a psychologist. This is no way to live. I used to get that as a kid too. also think about what will make you less anxious and try to fix it. Will it help if you go earlier or later to school.? Or with a friend.? Usually we get anxious because we have no control. Is there a way to get control of a situation that is making you uncomfortable.?

If you are dealing with depression you need help with it. I know it can be very overwhelming. So either talk to your parents about it or ask them to see your family dr, then say that you are dealing with terrible anxiety and depression and you need to talk to someone and he/she will refer you to someone.

I used to get sick before school too. I would bring a snack though and eat it at school either in the back of the classroom or between classes when I had calmed down a bit. My mom used to promise me it would get better in college and it did. I feel for you and I there are so many things out there now to help stop your anxiety including medication. Good luck my dear. Keep asking and answering stuff on here because it will help take your mind off things.Health Question & Answer

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level.

But there are natural ways to do it without medication. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc.
The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced... you have that "learned behavior" in your mind. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction... There are several other techniques to help cope them!
Ok, to use Distraction: Firstly, try to....

Stop and think. Why am I so anxious.?.? Is it because I have an exam.?.? Is it because I have problems with friends.?.?

Once you know why you're feeling anxious, you can work out how to deal with it.

If that doesn't work, talk to someone about it.

Hope you feel better! :)
