Why does it happen that whenever i imagine myself doing certain things like walking the stairs or...?!

Question: Why does it happen that whenever i imagine myself doing certain things like walking the stairs or....?

cutting fruits with knife. I always imagine myself hurting myself.?. for example if i am just thinking about stuff n what i did the other day and if i think how i was walking the stairs, i always imagine that i fall down. or if imagining that i am cutting some stuff with the knife, i imagine that i cut myself.
All this happens unintentionally.

I have had a childhood full of emotional neglect and abandonement.

also when i wake up in the morning and all things are going great, i feel like 'hey i shouldn t be happy, you know something is wrong today', certain thoughts that make me feel that somehing is always wrong and i dont have reasons to be happy always plague my mind.

It is really hard to change feelings you have been having for years. When everything is going good you are still waiting for the other shoe to drop.(waiting for something to go wrong)

It sounds like since you had a very rough childhood you don't feel like you deserve to be happy.

YOU DO DESERVE TO BE HAPPY!!!

If you have insurance you should see a counselor, they can help you work out your feelings and sometimes that will help. If that does not work you should see your doctor. Sometimes taking anti-depressants is the best answer.

Good Luck and remember you are not alone and sometimes we need to try to take one day at a time and enjoy what we have now.Health Question & Answer
