That has happened to me several times... what I do is set down take a few deep breathes and remind myself I am only human and I say a prayer for God's grace guidance's. You have to settle your mind or try to and remember the twelve stops of getting any place in your life, the most important is "to accept the things I can not change have the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference," that one right there is the one you need to concentrate on. Take things 1 step at a time and 1 day at a time. Slow down the fast racing thoughts so you can think like a person instead of a machine. Then pick the starting point and work your hardest and your best. Never try to do anything when your upset and flustered because you will not accomplish anything. That is how I deal with it. When you know your in that state of frenzy take time out say a prayer re-coop your thoughts and try to finish what you started. That is the best advice I can give you. best of luck to you my friend. I lost EVERYTHING in a failed relationship. I just had to work at getting better, and tried to be patient, and ended up with a lot more than I had before, especially peace of mind. Losing things is part of life, and if ou keep faith in yourself you can end up in better shape than before. Besides, it's not a good thing to be attached to material things. Losing a friend or loved on is the absolute worst.
This is why one needs to be in the moment and enjoy friends and family, you never know when they can be taken away from you, and you end up regretting things you said or did to them.Health Question & Answer

If you carry on asking such depressing questions, I shall have to make you a contact of mine.
I am luckier than you, from what I have read, and am not in perhaps the best of mental health myself.
I've seen everything, all bar a new lover of now 6 years, fall into a chasm, and trust me, I felt like I had a big world fall into that hole.
I still do.
With less "baggage" I will be able to progress further and quicker without being weighed down. Life will become easier for both you and me in course.
I chop and change frequently, though would like to help you in the times that I can, and will make you a contact, as I feel it may be beneficial.

I have experienced major losses in my life about 3 or 4 times. I can only image what you are going through at this time.

To better deal with your situation, I would suggest that you keep everything in PERSPECTIVE!!! Everything you have lost can be recovered to some degree...so keep that positive attitude!!! It never hurts to find a close friend that you can talk to maybe even a stranger/counselor (sometimes it's easier to talk with a stranger/counselor because their opinion of you doesn't matter as much).

Just deal with one issue at a time and I promise you that you can regain most of your losses! You may even gain much more in the process!

when i moved when i was a child about 16 i lost all my friends, and a girl that i will never forget...all you can do is move on even knowing that the gap left behind will never be forgotten, but maybe you shouldn't want to forget about it because your past is what makes you who it is you are. its been a long time since that move and still to this day i wonder what could have been, but if what could have been happened that what happened would have been what could have been and i don't want to forget this life either! when are they making a time machine so i can test out all the different possibilities! lolHealth Question & Answer

My favourite cat and pictures of my relative's first trip to see me that were left on the camera that my ex lent me. ( We broke up and he refused to give them to me) I cried, and cursed. Swore vengeance, and plotted. For my cat, it's been 7 wks, and I still go out to look for him. The pics, while nothing can be done. Like with everything else, time seems to take the sting out of it.Health Question & Answer

You may lose absolutely everything but you still have yourself and as long as that's the case then you can always rebuild, in fact some people long to run away and start again, they see it as liberating and a 2nd chance to not make the same mistakes.Health Question & Answer
