I think my daughter has gone off her meds.?!

Question: I think my daughter has gone off her meds..?
Since May my daughter has been undergoing psychiatry help for anxiety/depression as well as an eating disorder. She was recently taken off prozac and after a week was given zoloft. She used to carry a pharmacy around with her and was very visible with taking her medication, but the past week has become very secretive, almost angry and no pills are visible. She is nearly 19 so she is considered adult by her doctor. Is there anything I should be looking out for.? Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Just try to be supportive. If you confront her she is likely to withdraw from you more.

well my idea would be this... she's probably(completely perspective) dating someone and is visibly hiding her med habit just to cast off her malady to say the least.. try being supportive to the extent possible and don't try comforting her too much than you normally do! start giving her emotional support so that she gets back to normalcy and try telling her that if at all she's trying to hide it for someone...that its completely unnecessary and she cud be better off being herself than try emulating some imaginary persona! sorry if i was real hard! Just talk to her thats pretty much all you can do 19 she is no longer under your authority. Look for sickness if shes been on it a while withdrawl is a big thing if you stop cold.Health Question & Answer
