How to go through depression without slipping deeper into depression?!


Question: How to go through depression without slipping deeper into depression.?
I am starting a treatment for depression I have been prescribed WELLBUTRIN 150MG TABLETS and going for counselling intake on Monday mourning.

I never ever been this way before I have felt really down in the dumps I truly want to get better before things worsen (I am afraid to slip deeper into depression & that is my fear).

I told myself one mourning I am going to get better and take the antidepressant and go to counselling and get better for myself and for my family & friends and don't want to end up somewhere else. I AM DETERMINED TO GET BETTER.Health Question & Answer

Wellbutrin helped me when I needed it. You also are the cause of your own depression. I found that your morning routine helps create a better mental atmosphere.

Take a brisk shower, make pretty the head/hair/face, smell good and put on your finest. Momma always told me that when I'm feeling my worst, always to look my best.

Sometimes I get so down, that I clean toilets wearing an evening gown. (Stay at home wife)

Getting off the computer and talking to real humans also helps. I've had one bi*** of a year so far, so I make puppies. Since my depression level is pretty high right now, I don't sleep much, don't eat either, but I always find time to sing to my precious pups at 3am at feeding time.

My drug of choice is Miller Genuine Draft. I tried Zoloft once and lost a whole 24 hours. I haven't been that stoned in years.

I hate depression with a passion. Mine made me think that suicide was the only way out.

i found i had to get to the very bottom, suicide attempts, cutting myself off from everyone etc to really get better. once i had time to myself, after id told everyone to get ******* i could think bout why i was so depressed and was it worth all the boullshit i was going through.?

I used Cognitive Behaviour therapy to get out of the slupm. Sounds like you will have a good chance with this therapy because you are determined to get better.
