My new Dr. took me off Klonopin( Clonazapam) and it was living hell.
I took it for years, for anxiety. DO NOT TAKE IT,OR ANYTHING LIKE XANAX,VALIUM,Or any other benzo's. They are totally addicting, and very hard to stop taking them.
I never knew that anti depressants ( many of them) also treat anxiety.
This new Dr. put me on Lexapo, and wow, It's amazing. Really. I could honestly feeeeel my anxiety melting away, the very 1st week on it, and it just got better and better.Been on it now, 4 months and NO problems/side effects. See the link below, and read about it. Ask your Dr, tell him that you have a cousin who takes it, and it it has helped her so much.

It depends. Some things that this depends on is your age, genetic factors (does anyone else in your family suffer from disease or depression).. did some even bring these symptoms on, or have they been ongoing and if so, for how long.? What makes the symptoms worse, and what makes them better.? There are a lot of factors to consider, unfortunantly there is not just black and white answer.Health Question & Answer

i used to be on effexor..that really helped me out when i was in a slump.. but you should def. try meditating...look up stuff on law of attraction, and you should watch "the secret".. these have helped me without the use of the effexor b/c i decided i didnt want to take meds anymore..i had to be strong and deal with my emotions and learn to bee zenHealth Question & Answer
I'm on prozac for anxiety & depression. Along with a small dose of Xanax and clonapans & Wellbutrin. They just started me on prozac and it's working good. They are going to wean me off the other meds asap. I would ask for prozacHealth Question & Answer
