The Anxiety & Phobia Workbook by Edmund J Bourne PHD, New Harbinger Publications is a self-help workbook which looks at the symptoms of different anxiety and panic disorders and what the major causes are. It gives advice on helping your own recovery with practical ideas relating to diet and nutrition, building your self esteem, asserting yourself and relaxation and exercise among other things. I'm reading a book right now called The Feeling Good Handbook by David D. Burns. It's proven to work just as well, if not better than antidepressants. This book is one of the top recommended by therapists. In the book, it helps you get through and overcome everything you listed through a technique called Cognitive Therapy (changing negative thoughts to positive ones).

I can't really say how well it's worked for me so far (I'm about 1/5 through the book), but I have faith that it will work. My doctor is the one who recommended this book to me, and also said that talking to a therapist could be beneficial (although I don't want to see one just yet). He also said that along with the book, I should get regular exercise, which increases serotonin levels in the brain (mood lifters).

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc.

The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced... you have that "learned behavior" in your mind. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction... There are several other techniques to help cope them!
Ok, to use Distraction: Firstly, try to....
