It's never too late to follow your dreams. Realize that. I spent a whole day last week crying because I felt like I had abandoned my dreams. Luckily, someone said to me that they aren't gone and they aren't dead. You can follow your dreams at 20 or 75!

The key is to make a plan and follow it. Don't sit at home moping about how much your life sucks. Sit and home and plan how you make your life NOT suck. Then do it!

Besides, maybe you aren't meant to achieve things that "normal people" achieve. Maybe that's why you aren't satisfied. Maybe you are supposed to be beyond ordinary- extraordinary.

As far as school goes, try harder. Study with those who seem to know what they're doing. Meet with tutors and professors. You can start doing better if you take bigger steps to learn better.

It's hard. I believe that something always comes along. But, at the same time, you have to work for it to come along. Life never hands you lemons; you need to plant the tree or pick them!

So, try new things and explore. Go towards your dreams. Or, if you can wait, put your dreams aside for a little while until you have the means to follow them. The worst that can happen if you follow your dreams is that they don't come true. If you don't even try to chase them, then there is NO chance that the dreams will happen...Health Question & Answer

its never too late to follow your dreams. if your struggling at collage you could try asking for extra help from the teacher, or a friend in the class (i know it really sucks having to do this, but if your serious about collage...) think you also need to stop comparing yourself to other peoples achievements, beause what is 'normal'.? if you focus on things one problem at a time instead of worrying abotu the future too much, things will eventually fall into place.

also, its really hard to find a job, lots of people (including me) struggle, but you just have to nto give up. good luck with everythingHealth Question & Answer

your thoughts are all so negative, I can't imagine how you function at all, and I don't understand why people do this to themselves. YOU and you alone control what you mind thinks. Don't you think you owe equal time to the positives in your life.? You obviously ignore any possible positive and apply all your energies to the negatives...why.?
a cognitive behavioral therapist may be able to help you... but you have to be willing to change the way you think.Health Question & Answer

Sounds like you're depressed. See your doctor about it and Ativan may be a good alternative. Depending on your age, going back to school can be a struggle and you need to re-learn how to learn. Try word associations, they helped me. It's never too late to follow your dreams. I knew a detective out in Vegas that spent like 25 years on the job and decided to become a doctor. Now he's the medical director for Clark County, Nevada! Dr. Dale! Health Question & Answer

You are what you think you are. If you think you are a loser, then you are a loser. If you want to think differently, you're free to do so. Just because you think life is passing you by, doesn't mean that is true. Maybe, as life is passing you by, it wants you to look down on the ground and pick up the dollar bill that is at your feet. Look around you. Assess your life, and see what it is you want to do. Think positively, not negatively. I CAN DO THIS! kind of thoughts. When you figure out what it is you want to do, set some short term goals to achieve in order to reach that long term goal. Step by step start completing each goal and you'll be amazed how quickly you'll start moving closer to your long range goal. I hope this helps, and that you begin positive steps to help yourself. Good luck my friend.Health Question & Answer

If you are in college, in my book that means you've made it where some people can't. I think you are not giving yourself credit for the things you have accomplished. Be positive and reach for your ambitions in life. There are people out there who would love to be in school like you are. Some can't hack it or afford it. Don't they have guidance counselors in some colleges.? Sometimes they can help you figure out what direction you need to take as far as pursuing a career. I wonder if you could take some kind of aptitude test to let you know your strong points. Might check it out. Health Question & Answer

The way you put it shows that you are not that stupid. Believe me your feelings will change by time. Leave things to Allah. he has the whole world in his hands. The stupid one is that who thinks only about his own business. The smart one is the one who thinks about the far future: life after death. That is what Mohamed said. Health Question & Answer

It is never too late to follow your dreams - - - just have a very clear head and know exactly what they are, and discuss them with either a teacher or a minister. And remember - college is not for everyone!

Perhaps some of the college classes you're taking simply don't interest you. If you're not interested then your attention lapses and you won't do as well as other students. I seriously doubt that you're stupid. It sounds like a confidence issue. I have the same problem with comparing myself to others and it's a dead end thought process. There will always be someone achieving more than you. The key is to focus on your life and what you want to do. Think about the life you want and what steps you can take to achieve it. Then work at it gradually. This will build your confidence and you'll start to feel better about yourself. As for the job, it's a tough job market right now. Try not to be too down on yourself about it. Instead try enrolling in a college course that will help you obtain job skills to make you more marketable. It's never too late to achieve your dreams.
