Problems Forming Relationships?!

Question: Problems Forming Relationships.?
I'm 26 and I have problems forming relationships with other people. I have a special group of friends which I don't tend to grow. They were made in school. I never meet anyone when I'm out, I just chat to my group of friends. It's a lonely world.. Can anyone relate to this, or do I have serious problems.?Health Question & Answer

Oh golly, You sound like a really neat person. If you have a special group of friends then you are really something special! The world IS a lonely place on the whole isn't it.? And the older you get the lonelier it sometimes gets. You are in a tough age group. Around your age friends start to get married and build their families and kind of drift off into their own new circle. Those that are single often flit from bar to party and back again trying to find that "special someone" or just wanting to keep from feeling alone. But they are still lonely in my experience. Party buddies are not "real" friends. You have people who care about you and are real friends. It doesn't matter that you don't have "lots" of them. That they still enjoy a relationship with you after all these years proves that you have a character that is valuable. Now, if you feel like making more new and exciting friends and meeting more of the "opposite sex" try some of the dating sites online and go slow, get to know a few people and see how you like it. And don't be down on yourself...very few people have several"REAL" friends!Health Question & Answer
