You say **** it and start doing whatever makes you happy, and forget about everyone else. I can assure you being dead would suck, it'd be really boring and you just kinda lie there. Living is much better if you forget about everyone else and only worry about yourself. Other people come later, honestly if you aren't happy in life, what makes you think anything else will make you happier.
