Question: Would this annoy/tik you off.?
I met a really nice guy online, he a college graducate, and works a great job as a Petrolium engineer. Righ now he is in an oil rig in the Irish sea.
I really like him, and we plan to meet when he comes home. He's in NY and I am in NJ.
BUT the way he typs really annoys me. He sometimes does not use the correct form of words he uses. Example:Like he used " I like her" in the present tense, where he means," I liked her". Lots of stuff like this, ANDDDDDDDDD.. he made his own abbrevians of of word: Example: So how is evry ting wit u.?
It just bothers me a little.

I can totally relate to your situation. I met a guy online (with TWO computer degrees) and was at first turned off by his "email lingo"... he would say things like "yah" instead of "yeah"...etc. I almost didn't write him back on the personals web site because it bothered me so much (being the grammar freak that I am). I decided to write back anyway and give him a chance, and it ended up being the best decision I've ever made! We are now engaged, and we are celebrating our 3 year anniversary next weekend! You Know.? It's getting sooooo bad. People are no longer into proper english, or doing sums in their minds. It's all about "rushing".

Maybe he is just tired as you must have been when you typed this since there are an awful lot of typos in this post. I wouldn't be too hard on him because many people have trouble communicating in written form. My issue would be if he was like that in person.Health Question & Answer
