What Mental Health problem do I have?!


Question: What Mental Health problem do I have.?
I get paranoid about what other people think of me due to being bullied alot in the past and when someone calls me a nasty name I feel like killing myself.
I have extreme social anxiety, I get racing thoughts about how things will eventually turn out for me mostly in the evening or when I am having a shower. When I feel good about myself I feel like I am the best person alive and nobody can be better than me, when I feel bad about myself I feel like the ugliest person in the world and I start blaming my childhood for why I have become a social recluse and I blame my parents for why I am so ugly.
I am always looking on the internet for solutions on how to become more attractive and a better social person, also trying to identify on yahoo answers what is wrong with me and constantly seek reassurance from people on yahoo answers
When I sit in my lounge with my mum and step dad I start smiling and grinning for no reason it is really weird as I have no control over this
I have very bad short term memory and I have to write down everything or i'll forget itHealth Question & Answer

My son has the exact same thing. It is social anxiety disorder. Go on the internet and look up this disorder, it will give you a lot of insight on the disease and how to overcome it. It will take time and patience and therapy with a therapist that is trained in this disorder as not all are. It is a disease that is inherited from families that have anxiety. Some people just get a more intense form of it. My son has been working on himself for 4 years through therapy but he has gotten the most help through techniques he learned on the internet. He is getting better slowly but he IS getting better. Hang in there but be proactive and research it for yourself and try the steps to help yourself. Good luck to you.Health Question & Answer

I don't think you "have" anything. I think you just need to do some reprogramming of your mental patterns. For me, prayer works all the time. I would pray something like this: "Thank You for blessing me with being free of extreme emotions... as You will and at Your will from this moment forth."
