Question: Why do i like to be sad.?
it's odd i love feeling sad and if i get happy i find something new to make me feel sad. it's like i cant function unless I'm sad. is that normal.?Health Question & Answer

i think it depends on how old you are...when i was in my teens, i was the exact same way...i think the sadness was my comfort zone...later in life, when i lost my brother, and lost everything i owned in a hurricane, i learned what TRUE sadness really was...looking back now, i can see that those feelings of teenage sadness were a warning sign of what could later develope into a full blown depression....theres a big difference between being "emo" and being depressed...just learn some warning signs of depression, things that cause it, and what you can do help it go away.....its a cunning disorder, depression is the only disease i know of (besides addiction) that will trick your brain into thinking its happy that way....best of luck to you...Health Question & Answer
How old are you.? Maybe it's just teen angst, but it could also be depression. It really depends on how serious it is.
