okay so i have post traumatic stress disorder
since a few years ago, my life was on the line when they didnt diagnose my appendix rupturing (yes i know it sounds minor, but i was on life support, and had many procedures and everything) until it was too late.
i finally got better over the course of 6 months.
but i still sometimes have bad flashbacks of it.
i can't watch anything medical, even though i used to want to be a doctor.
and every year, around the time when this all started, i get those same pains i had like before.
how can i get rid of this, is this normal to have ptsd over.

This sounds like an extremely scary thing, it's very brave of you to talk about. First of all, please don't minimize how you are feeling. What you experienced doesn't seem minor at all and you have every right to acknowledge you are really struggling and need some help.
i would encourage you to seek out some counseling so you can explore some of these issues. Many times with PTSD, we bury the pain under so many layers that when certain things remind us of the event, the pain tends to surface in an overwhelming way.
If you can begin to face your fears and understand the connection of fear and your medical experience, it may lessen your anxiety around things they trigger it.
