Any pill "Can Be" broken in half but unless it has the line on the pill that tells you it is designed to be broken, I would tell you not to.

Working "Faster" can be bad if it is designed to be slowly released...

Take it sooner then you think you need it if you are worried about having to wait for it to kick in and remember that the more liquids you drink with it, the faster it will kick in.Health Question & Answer

Yes, you can. I do it myself. I take 900 mg. per night which means I have to break one of the 200 mg tablets. I'm not sure if the tablet is coated but if it is then you would have a faster reaction time when it is broken in half. I wouldn't worry about it.Health Question & Answer

theoretically, if you cut the tablet in pieces, and take all the pieces, they will dissolve faster compared to if you took a whole tablet. more surface area= faster absorption.
