People with Dyslexia have many many symptoms. Not all are negative. They have a different way of thinking, which might be why that person said being ambidextrous could be a form of dyslexia.
I have many symptoms of dyslexia, but the psychologist thought I only had a mild form.
That third dimensional way of thinking I have. I also have some of those reading and speech problems.
Most symptoms of a mental disorder are so very similar.
Best thing for you to do is look up the symptoms of Dyslexia and if you have 10 or more then you can look into getting tested.
I have like 20 out of 37.
But apparently I don't have it.

that is no way a form of dyslexia, dyslexia has to do with trouble interpreting/processing language which often manifests itself in reading troubles. Being ambidextrious means you can use both hands just as effeciently as one another in all things. They aren't relatedHealth Question & Answer
Im dyslexic, and i found that once i was officially diagnosed help came flowing. Ask your GP, he's had to go to med school, so will know something, or someone.
