chlorpromazine does not come in injection form, if a patient is given an injection to came them down they are usually give 5-10mgs of haloperidol and 1-2mgs of lorazepam, but they cannot be given it against their will unless they are held under the mental treatment act.Health Question & Answer

It is very rare that patients become childlike, due to any medication.
Patients, or Clients, as we call them, take a variety of medication, shots are mostly for those who who can't swallow well, or are very hyper and will not take the medication in the conventional way.
This is not at all, in any way comparative to Vodka or any other alcoholic drink. It is not similar to heroine.
Clients take many kinds of medications, but I have tried to respond to the "shots" as you call them. Most shots are anti pyscotics, and just help a client stop his hallucinations and delusions. It stabilized the mood, and helps them sleep better, too.Health Question & Answer
