Question: Can i take anxiety pills if im 14.?
Im 14 and ever since i was four I've been getting panic attacks or major anxiety. I start sweating, my heart rate goes up to the point where i feel like its beating so hard other people can see it move my chest, and i feel like everyone's watching me especially on places like the bus, a line at a store, etc. If you can recommend what to take which brand or what type to take it would be really helpful. And please dont answer with: your to young, or, it's normal for your age, ive had it for a very long time so that's not very likely plaease just awnser the question Health Question & Answer

Sure you can. Just make sure you have a really good doctor and be honest about how you feel. My daughter started taking the pill Ativan last year at 15 and she was helped by it a lot. She also had the pounding heart and sweating.
I'm afraid she inherited it from me. I have anxiety also, and take Vistaril, which is more mild.
