what does that mean in your opinion. im fairly clueless tbh.Does it mean they behave in a way they feelHealth Question & Answer

Answers:
Sort of like saying that they can not hide how they are feeling and if something makes them feel good they will go after that at the expense of reality.
They can be manipulated by others and this makes them vunerable.Health Question & Answer

It means to me that often people's emotions can affect their decision making abilities. Often, people will ignore what seems correct and rational and rather let their emotions make decisions for them.

Example: If someone hurts someone close to you, rationally, you would call the police and let them handle it properly (and legally). This would most likely make you angry at this person for hurting someone close to you, so instead of calling the police, your emotions made lead you to seek revenge on this person, which is not the correct path to follow. Therefore, your behaviour was driven by your emotions.

It means they have psychological issues and behavioral problems, ask any psychologist. Seriously, it means they just act on their first impulse and don't allow logic and reason to guide them. Every person feels, but you can't always let your emotions guide you, if people did, there would be tons of rapists and murderers running loose on the streets. You have to use logic and reason to make sound choices. ;-)Health Question & Answer

I dunno, I think i disagree.... I think it means... that... ummmm well I cant explain it, but here is an example.... If a person was angry because someone they loved has recently died in a car accident, and then they were very angry in a completely different situation such as paying for groceries at the store. The lady at the store had nothing to do with it nor does she know why he the person is angry... but inside of that person there is anger at the recent accident death of their loved one... etc.

My husband got back from Iraq, and I think his behavior was driven by his emotions.... he was hateful, and angry, and just out of check with the world... nothing had happened to him, nor did he have to hurt anyone else... he was very lucky, but the things that he saw he carried home with him... and in turn suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He is fine now, but when he first returned it didnt take long for people to "get out of his way" cause he was so angry.

Hope this was of some help.Health Question & Answer

Emotions and impulse control much, but not all of what we do. Sometimes we function best when we suppress them, sometimes they lead us to great things, like love and valour. Sometimes they plunge us to the depths of despair. They are what makes us both strong and vulnerable, they are what makes us human.Health Question & Answer

Basically, its saying that even though i am a reasoning being, i don't think things through before i do them, so i am completely immune to all negative repercussions my actions might have, because even though i knew that said actions could have been done in a better manner, my emotions caused me forget all forms of etiquette, and my instincts took over for protecting my own.Health Question & Answer

living via emotions is good, as long as the emotions are appropriate. If negative emotions create problems in that person's life, or the lives of loved ones, they should use their rational thinking to retrain their emotional processes in a more constructive direction. Health Question & Answer

It means they may at times not be able to follow what their head is telling them, as they're listening to their heart (or emotions if you like).
This can lead to what appears to be a kind of warped logic in certain situations. Health Question & Answer
