Question: Please tell me ' exactly ' what you would do if you were me .?
im nearly 31 have a personality disorder and ptsd symptoms, suffered a woefully misfortunate life so far , missed out on qualifications, forming friendships , being employed , living a life, forming relationships etc .

im starting from scratch, i own nothing except a computer , i live in a one bedroom flat on disability , im chasing therapy , one on one psychology which is not available in my area due to lack of resources , so they put forth a drop in centre where they do activities to help me integrate with ' humanity ' better.

i suffer With agoraphobia, low self esteem at times, rage and aggression, high anxiety, persecutors paranoia , racing thoughts - even though ive managed well for years and improved with a lot of it..

i have a criminal past 7 years ago, a psychiatric record, obviously, been in a mental institution, 8 years ago.


my big ambition in life is to have a fully independent life, a decent paid job in computers , to move abroad and leave britain , maybe ; austria, spain or germany.

i have an injured ankle which will take time to heal, torn tendons due to a sprain a year ago.

im out of shape and physically weak, have physical imperfections ; 2 missing teeth, a crooked little finger due to an injury years ago, injured nerves in my right knuckle because i punched a stone wall years ago..


i go out there when im brave enough to get my groceries, pay bills, and i see people living happy , carefree , fulfilling lives full of richness.

i see it on tv , on myspace.



in the present i still get that aloof, standoffish vibe from people in the community , and sometimes the only ones who show kindness , frienliness are the type i feel feel sorry for me and are giving me the message im a charity case , so theyll accept me on those basis.

then im normally aloof back, and reject them, sending the message, they are not wanted in my life.

then i leave.



i feel stuck here, far away from my goals in life of a decent job in computers of moving abroad , leaving england living in germany or austria, a quiet village, a secure , stable life, financially ok etc.

I would make alist of simple goals I want to achieve and approach each one, one at a time

For example.
1 I want to be able to go out and do my shopping without having to worry about it
2 I want to make a friend who will accept I have baggage and history and will take me just for being me
3 I want to find a job that I know I can do and will enjoy doing

Thats just an example, you may find it easier to start with very simple goals

Approach each goal 1 at a time and work out how you are going to do it. Once you have achieved that goal, tick it off and do that happy dance - in other words treat yourself to a reward

As you achieve each goal it will help you in our self confidence, which in turn will help you towards achieving the next goal

There will be times when it will seem to be almost impossible but always remind yourself that you are doing it for YOU and in this respect no one matters more than YOU getting well

I really and sincerely hope you come through this and can have a happy and peaceful life

if i were you, i would stop feeling sorry for myself, eat healthy, like someone before said about omega-3 etc, and get outside, get some fresh air and no offense, get a life.
1. dont be scared to go outside because no one will do anything to you.
2. do an IT course
3. make a friend or two, meet your myspace friends in person
4. like i said before, stop feeling sorry for yourself.
because we are all just as happy and miserable as eachother and i personally don't believe in depression. depression is when someone feels too sorry for themselves and doesn't do anything to keep themselves occupied enough.

Have you tried to turning to God. Have you asked him to help you.? If you have not done this I would advise you to. He is waiting for you to come to him with open arms and repent, ask for forgiveness and ask for a fresh start. If i were you i would change my dietary habits.All the mental disorders you described are caused by vitamin,mineral and omega 3 deficiency most of which by omega 3 deficiency alone.

When you change your dietary habits you will change the course of your life whether you believe it or not.Speaking from personal experience.

Mind you if you walked 1 mile into the forest it will take 1 mile to get out of it.The lost balance in your mind and body cannot be restored over night.It will take time,patience,diligence and a money but you will not regret it i am sure.I havent.
