There are a lot of medications used to treat bipolar. The most common traditionally has been Lithium. Other common drugs are Lamictal, Abilify and Seroquel.
Usually treatment of bipolar includes a mood stabiliser and often an antipsychotic. Each treatment plan (medication wise) is different. I take Lamictal, Seroquel, Wellbutrin and Zoloft to treat my bipolar. Others may take Lithium alone.Health Question & Answer
