Question: Is it normal to want to live alone .?
am a 13 year old girl and i just feel like i wanna live alone in my own house and away from my family
cause they are annoying sometimes and in the mornings when am trying to get to sleep they make a lot of noise!

Yes, I have wanted to live alone as long as I can remember. It's totally normal..you just have to wait it out, unfortunately! I lived in the basement when I was your age, I could hear everything upstairs in the morning and it was so annoying (among other things lol)!
But believe me, the feeling you get when you realize you can finally move out is bliss! So just wait for that. For now, be thankful for the free living you have, and your family who loves you. A noisy morning sucks incredibly bad, but it doesn't suck as much as paying rent in an even noisier apartment where you have weird neighbors who less than love you.

Speaking from experience, I know what you mean. It is a very common feeling to get, as solitude, although some consider it anti-social, is a natural thing for a human to crave.
People are different and some enjoy their own company more than others, and it is likely that you are just one of these people.
If it make you feel any better though, it is possible that you don't necessarily want to be alone, you just want peace and quiet.
Whatever is bothering you though, don't stress it. That is a very typical teenage mentality, so don't feel guilty for thinking that.

You're about to go on a journey that will last a few years. This is just the beginning. What's "normal" may be that you're noticing that you require alone time. Everyone needs time with friends, then time with family, time with people of their own age, time with people of their own gender, etc. When guys get sick of girls they need guy time. When girls get fed up with guys, they need girl time. We can't live with them or without them, as the saying goes. Perhaps you simply enjoy alone time. That's okay. Some people require more than others. Your personality is making itself known. Nothing wrong with that. Just remember that if you were all alone on this earth (like in a twilight zone episode) you'd not like it at all. We all need each other and then there's times when you hate the entire world. It's all normal. My daughter used to enjoy reading alot of those Chicken Soup for the soul, for teens, etc. type books. Maybe you would too.? Maybe your family just wants to make noise 'cause they miss your company and that's their rude way of introducing you to the day. I went through it, and I survived and then I woke my kids up in a more gentler way than what I put up with when I grew up. Remember, it's not forever. And some day you actually might miss it. i felt the same way from about 13-17. even tho u want to get out on your own-enjoy it while u can, u'll be out before u know it. its annoying sometimes but im sure you do some things that annoy others in your family.Health Question & Answer

When I was single, I always loved living alone. You will have your opportunity one day too. At 13, you are a minor and living alone will also require a decent income. Be patient, time goes by quickly.Health Question & Answer
