srry it all scrambled but uuuuuugh
im not SERIOUSLY depressed in the sence of cutting writs or suicide or self destructive but I've been like, crying more and stuff
I just started gr. 9 this year and I've been hating it
I have non of my friends in any of my classes
i haven't made any new friends cuz
1. i wanna get my work done, so i cant talk to ppl or ill get in trouble
2. quite a few of the ppl sitting around me talk about drinking and stuff like that and i don't wanna be there friend if they do drugs and swear all the time and stuff
well yeah idk but its not working for me
all m,y other friends are coming up to me and introducing their millions (egsaturation :P) of friends to me and stuff and i often feel left out even by my best friend sometimes
my other best friend went to a different school and her mom isn't letting her come to my school until after gr.9
im in all academic and my friends are in applied and UGH i feel so lonely, all i want to do is get the day over with and go home but once i get there all i do is stupid homework.
and like sometimes i want my best friend to come downstairs to my locker or something or help me with something and she always says noo and is to lazy apparently to do stuff with me and its depressing........it all adds up to the hurt factor and :( like ugh i feel easily sad over stupid things now, I'm very bubbly normally and nice and good hearted and well behaved but when im in class im quiet and do my work and stuff so how do i make friends like that.?.?
i get along great when we do group assignments and stuff but its still like UGH
and now my moms going away for 3 weeks over christmas because her parents are really sick and im so close to my mom and when i want her most i cant see her :( :( :( :( :(

Okay your experiencing whats called a bad transition. Your going from the 8th grade where you were surrounded by friends and had a certain level of comfort. Now your the new person in a strange environment, your best friends from 8th grade act like they have no time for you and your feeling left out. High school is very tough for some people. The only advice I can give you is to be yourself. It is good that your not wanting to hang out with the kids who want to do drugs and act foolish because there is trouble down that path.
You can look into maybe joining school related clubs or activities so that you can meet new people and have something to look forward to.
You will feel better..you will get used to the changes and you have to keep your head up and drive on. We all go through this period of growing up and for most of us it sucks..but you will make it and you will be happy again..

hmmm. that really sucks. school is really boaring when you are just waiting for it to end so you can come home. doing you're work is important, but you can also try socializing at the same time. i get my work done keep up good grades and at the same time socialize with others. In my freshman year i didn't no anyone but eventually i made a few friends and more as time went on. you have to try doing the same. trust me the teachers aren't going to get mad if you talk to others once in a while. yur grades aren't going to go down if you socialize a little, as long you do all yur work and do what's required, you'll be okay.Health Question & Answer
