Hey,

getting sectioned isn't the answer. Most people who go in that way are far more likely to have similar experiences in the future. Especially with the issues you explain you have - anxiety, social anxiety, being on a psychiatric ward/unit would not be a good thing as there aren't many therapies offered unless you are private and it's unlikely you'd be kept in for those reasons alone. Plus it's very easy to get caught up in the system and clearly you want to be successful as you talk of your failures as things that have really upset you.

I was suspended from University on medical grounds, after several stays in a psychiatric ward. I can relate to your money issues and not feeling able to work.
The most important thing now is that you access appropriate treatment. You need a clear idea of the issues you have - it ight help to write a journal about them, and use this to speak to a mental health professional.

You could also seek financial advice from a Citizens Advice Bureaux.
You should also try applying for benefits - perhaps DLA, Income Support and Housing Benefit to help you whilst you sort yourself out :).

Wishing you the best of luck - get support and all of this you will be able to overcome. Health Question & Answer

If you have debts, you NEED to work to pay them off.

I have agoraphobia too and one thing that I have noticed is that the more I go out the better I feel. It becomes like a habit. You must conquer that fear. Force yourself into going out. Find a job. Get used to going there and the fear will gradually go away.Health Question & Answer

Hi there,
I know you probably don't want to be hearing this but, if you haven't got the money for something do not buy it.
My moto is loans and debts, makes worries and threats.
The only suggestion is to go to someone who you can trust and loves you loads, anyone in mind.?.?.?
Your parents, surely they can help after all you are there son, and they should support you in any situation.
also go and see a doctor, you obviously need help with your health, I know uni is stressful, but it can get worse.

You may not be like it, but could you apply to recieve benefits. Only if you have something acctually wrong with you, and it sounds like you do. By these, you can try to save up, i dont know the amount you would recieve but it is better than no income. Otherwise, are there any jobs which mean you could work from home.? This would be a better income than benefits, and it would mean you can still recieve money, whilst trying to concentrate on getting better, and trying to go back into the outside world, with one less worry (debts) hanging over you.

Try to get a doctor to your house to help you, and I hope your life gets back on track soon.

First of all I am sorry your are in this situation.

You must stop ordering from catalogues and other things. Be firm with yourself.

Do you live in the UK you can buy stuff (clothes) cheap from Oxfam charities.

Your pains are from stress because of all this.

Is there any home work you are able to do. The pay is terrible though.
Can you get money from the Social Security for sickness.

You need to see someone who can advise. To spread your costs. That is probably the best of the advice I have given. Ask around. Samaritans or Citizens Advice Bureau. This is if you live in the UK

Good luck. Stay as positive as you can. Nothing lasts forever, not even debts.Health Question & Answer
