for example you have a biiiiiiig problem mentally, emotionally and you then find your comfort zone.. days pass you just realize that your no longer feeling the pain coz you're so stuck in this comfort zone of yours where u dont feel the pain of your problem however the problem is still there... is that even possible to happen.? and what do u think happen to the person.? the pain is too much that she cant face it.?Health Question & Answer

Yeah this happens to people all the time who are suffering from depression or emotional/ mental difficulties- it's a common problem that people get to the point where it feels easier and more normal being unhappy than struggling to sort things out. These sorts of things (depression for example) can be exhausting and horrible so it's not surprising people shut off. Try speaking to your doctor and seeking out a counsellor. It sounds like the person has found a "safe" place to be emotionally. This is a good way to either deny the problem exists or put off dealing with it. More often than not such a person must resolve the problem to resume a "normal" life. She needs help to face it. Maybe with the support of a friend she should see a psychologist.
