What can be mentally wrong with her?!
Question: What can be mentally wrong with her.?
I have asked a question once before about this one friend but I need help again.
this friend of mine is seriously bugging me out. I know she has a nervous system disorder, which she explained but didn't give me a name for it, which her nervous system is "backwards." she will sometimes have seizures.
She keeps making up stories that are pretty obvious like the cop being her boyfriend. she had the same name but "took" a picture of the guy and showed it to me but it was a newspaper picture and that wasn't the only picture she had, each picture was a different guy but it was the same person.
she makes up her own words and thinks everything is hilarious and laughs while talking. which I can understand why.
she makes up a lot of tall tales and sends very weird texts and some that are just irritating like the fact that she "needs a man." Now she made up another boyfriend and she took a pic of him while he was sleeping but it was some random guy's elbow.
she tried to argue with me over something very stupid and obvious she was wrong (she was speeding in a construction zone) and she started yelling at me for criticizing her driving and calling her stupid which I didn't, I was telling her that slowing down when there's a cop behind her while speeding constitutes a ticket.
then last night, my brother and sister were following my sister's boyfriend to his house due to car trouble, and I had gotten a text from the friend saying that she was behind me and thought it was hilarious! we were freaked cos she kept following. She turned off somewhere and I later asked her what she was doing and she said she was dropping a friend off. Get this: there was no one in her car and she was not close to her house. she turned off into the condos where my brother lives. Then the next day she had the nerve to ask me what I was doing! she was the one following us!
I don't know what to do because I don't know what is wrong with her. She needs help but my brother, sister and hubby all know she won't believe us or whatever.She needs help and soon cos she's losing it fast and scaring us badly. My sister has known her for 10 years and in the past 2 years she's gotten very weird.Health Question & Answer

Please try to be as understanding as possible, she sounds like she is very sick. Keep in mind that it is not her but her illness that is causing her to act so strange. although kindness is always good advice, you must be practical too. If her behavior is scaring you then you need to tell her, as kindly as possible. You must create boundaries with this person by telling her how her behavior makes you feel. If she does not stop then you must tell her to get help or you will have to end the frienship completely. If you feel that she is any danger of hurting herself or anyone else, get outside assistance. She sounds very delusional and who knows what else. She cannot be trustworthy making it difficult if not impossible for you two to have a friendship. She kind of scares me. I would personally distance myself from her and if you feel comfortable, talk to her and tell her she needs help.Health Question & Answer
