Hi, I suffer from Paranoia. It is making going to school unbearable. I take panic attacks, get distracted and am starting to lose all my friends. I think everyone is out to get me and am afraid to go. I am on new medication to try and help me but it takes 3 months to start to have an effect and I dont think I can go through going to school for this long. I want to stay off school but my mum wont let me because she says this will make it worse, but I really can't go in, it makes me suicidal but she doesnt understand. So what I am asking is there anyway I could get an illness or something that would make me be of school for 'til after Christmas.

You already have a disability and that is paranoia. Paranoia is a real illness and should be taken very seriously.
I know that every one will tell you that it is best for you to go to school but they do not have to live with the hell that it is making you go through.

I think that if you avoid the problem it will get worse, and if you allow yourself to skip school for so long there will be no turning back. You may never get the education that will allow you to make a decent wage. I think you should talk to a professional psychiatrist and read about agoraphobia, it sounds like you may suffer from this. try Ignoring those that make you uncomfortable, realize most kids are really too selfconcsious to bother with judging you. good luck!Health Question & Answer

I'm home schooled if you don't like people it's great but otherwise it kind of sucks.
I just started this year 12th grade.
If you can find a government funded Electronic Classroom you can be on the computer for free.

Ask to be homeschooled. Growing up sucks and it doesn't help that everyone is so mean to each other.Health Question & Answer
sit down and talk 2 your mum tell her how u feel, break down in tear try nd make her cry if possible den hopefully she will feel sorry 4 u nd let u have a break from school.
i hated school 2 and i found going 2 school made me feel even more stressed out, it irritated me and got me frustrated.

I know at my school they can give home schooling if you have a medical reason (I was home schooled last year)
I put it this way, if you are smart, and you pay attention to school when you're actually there you will have no problem passing.
I was sick in grade 8, basically went 4 months the whole year and passed with a 75% avg.
grade 9 got sick again, there for about 4-5 months passed with a 65 avg.
last year I was home schooled i passed everything but physics, redoing it this year.
in my last year of high school now-- im still sick and its hard for me to go everyday, but I'm still passing all my classes.
see if you can get home schooled, or work something out with the school so you can go part time, and when you get over whelmed you can go home (thats what im doing with my school now) I didn't want to be home schooled again because i got really lonely being around no people for a whole year.Health Question & Answer
