Is there a disorder in which you hate every job you have no matter how much money your paid?!

Question: Is there a disorder in which you hate every job you have no matter how much money your paid.?
I have hated every job that I've ever had. I was a dog groomer b/c I love animals and I hated it. I worked at a telecommunications company and was paid over $20.00 an hour with great benefits and I hated it with every fiber of my being.
Im not lazy I just hate to "work" Im a stay at home mom now and I've never been happier, but I have hated every job I've had since I was 14.

I definitely feel your pain. I hated pretty much every job I ever had until I found my current one. Like you, I was unable to relax on my days off because I knew I would have to go to work again soon. But I have found that my current position at a dry cleaning dropstore is quite simple and straightforward, and I do not dread going to work there as much as the other jobs. Health Question & Answer

Someone recommended to me yesterday that I get a life coach. Maybe we both need one to help us find what is really the calling that each of us has.

But I already know that the best work is the work that you do for others. Pet grooming is a service that pets need, but working for a non-profit that rescues and helps animals is truly rewarding.

I have worked for years with homeless people and it has been better work than anything else I have ever done. Of course, the pay is not the highest in that sector but, if it were, it would not be right.

So, it sounds as if you need to find work that actually has some meaning to you. Dig deep to find what really makes you feel passionate and just do it.Health Question & Answer

I wouldn't call it a disorder, but yes this is a common occurrence in many people today. You don't like to be confined to one thing nor have to rely on other people to keep things in order. You want to go at your own pase and not have to worry "Did I do that right.?". It's like school for a child. Every morning you'd wake up and automatically tell your mom or dad "Oh, I'm sick! I don't feel good!" just so that you didn't have to deal with the stress or pressure. You should honestly try to find a good work from home job were you set your own hours and rules. Though you need to be very self disciplined so that you will make time to work and not put it off every chance you get.Health Question & Answer

i wouldn't say it is a disorder, i just would say that you aren't truly satisfied or truly love anything you are doing. Maybe you just haven't had your passion or maybe you just have to accept hating it to survive. Many people hate their jobs, unfortunately they stick with them to make money. But if you really want to look and see you may find something that you are truly passionate about. I don't blame you, many people hate their jobs. Good luck.Health Question & Answer

I had the exact same problem. What I decided to do was work for myself, it's not like I did not like to work I just did not like the stress of working for someone else, having deadlines, having to be on time , not being able to leave when I wanted to, and assholes for bosses. Now I am much happier and can make my own schedule. maby open a dog grooming shop at home..Health Question & Answer

I have the exact opposite problem. I get really crappy jobs that pay sh*t wages, and I love them. I've been really attached to dishwashing jobs, telemarketing jobs, housekeeping/cleaning jobs...Even now, other than being away from my kids, I really like my job and don't mind being at work. What do I do.? I serve sandwiches to rich people. What's there to like about that.?.? I haven't the slightest.

I know this isn't really an answer, but it's an interesting question and I'll be keeping my eye on it.

Maybe you should model puffer jackets.

I wouldn't call it a disorder. After all, don't most people feel that way.? I know I only work because I have to. I simply don't have what it takes to be a housewife, therefore I haven't been able to get someone to turn me in to one. Sighhhhhhh! Hmmm... come to think of it, I wonder what kind of drugs I can get for my recently discovered disorder.Health Question & Answer

Well if you are happy being a stay at home mom it means that you haven't hated every job. Being a stay at home mom is the best job ever and maybe it was the one you were looking for. There is nothing wrong with loving what is natural for a woman to love. Health Question & Answer

I know how you feel, but the reason is because I have social anxiety disorder and panic disorder and can't take being around people. If I have medication, I am okay. You might want to try travel nursing, http://www.travelnursing.com/, being a flight attendant, or starting your own business. Good luck.Health Question & Answer

A job is just that, a job...a means to an end. It will not be intrinsically fulfilling unless the nature of this job is part of your life purpose. Focus on motherhood if that feels better, or if you need more, try study, you may need a career instead of a job...you follow.? Health Question & Answer

first, I think that's normal for telecommunications.. I think you just have to find a job that has a purpose.. As a mom you get to build memories and a relationship.. find something that goes along with your values and not your interests.. Health Question & Answer

Money doesn't make a difference in how well you like the job. It has to be something you enjoy doing. It also helps when you like the people who you work with. I don't know why you hate jobs- maybe you just haven't found your niche.

I'm with B and B (and her sexy avatar!) on this one. You obviously just have not found your niche. I think once the Beanus Breakers tour ends, you'll look back on this as the best job you ever had. When that is done, puffer jacket modeling is the key to happiness!Health Question & Answer
