Question: Why do I feel this way always.?
I try over and over again and IM not happy. Even today when my hubby took me for a ride. IM a depressed women I take paxil and just don't feel good about life. IM always questioning life why this happens and that. IM lonely IM scared to go work as caregiver that IM suppose to have a interview the 13th of this month. I raised all my children and trying so hard to figure out what the next thing to do. my husband tells me to watch are nieces kids after school I just don't feel like doing anything help what is wrong with me were do I go from here.?Health Question & Answer

Often times, anti-depressants will make you feel worse before it gets better. Depending on how long you have been on it. If you have been on it for a while and you are feeling this way, then get back into the doctor ASAP. This can also be long term effects from the meds. If you feel suicidal at all seek immediate medical attention. Most importantly, do not allow yourself to be alone. This always makes things worse. Ultimately, you need to let your primary care physician know. Be smart, there are people who care and want to see you suceed; even if you don't feel like there is. Hello - Are you going through the change.? I just went into menopause in January of 2008 and have become increasingly depressed since that time, including having more and more difficulty leaving the house and enjoying life quite as much as before.
Speak with your gyno and or health care practioner about the possibility of adjusting your medication or possibly looking at your hormones.
Even if you are not experiencing hormonal difficulties, you need to be evaluated if the paxil is not working for you and you've been on it for more than 6 weeks. Your prescriber needs to evaluate you further to either adjust your dosage or change your medication all together.
If you don't see a therapist to talk out how you feel, please do so. Even though it may not seem like it now, joy will come back into your life.Health Question & Answer
