What is the best way to deal with a food obsession?!


Question: What is the best way to deal with a food obsession.?
I am about 10 lbs overweight - but since I quit smoking - I now think alot about wanting to eat. I would like to find an appetite suppressant, one that isn't harmful. I don't want to gain weight. I plan to join a support group Health Question & Answer

Congradulations on quiting smoking and choosing life! this is a great accomplishment!

:It is normal to eat more when quiting smoking and it is so much better than smoking ,... the good news is , it is only temporary!
After 3 to 4 months you will lose the weight you gained. DONOT take appetite supressants as this is not healthy nor neccessay because you will not even need them . your body and urges to eat more will level out soon....it is worth the wait for your health to just let this all happen naturally.

Try walking 30 minutes a day and if you can exercise then do that too.
Hang in there! your life and health is worth it!

a support group is a great idea! you are on the right track and have come a long way already.
