It's fxcking hard i tell you. I'm past all that already, what's important now is trying to get rid o the scars they're seriously make me uncomfortable. But ask you're self this question "Don't i really care, if i didnt i would not be writing here.''

Look, my piece of advise is beforehand when you're feeling like cutting then vent on a diary (trust me you'll feel alot better.) talk to someone you can trust, or just try to be busy all the time so that you'll stop thinking about slitting your wrists/tighs.

I can't tell you what will help you, but I can tell you what helps me:

1) Change the music, both in my mind and room. I find that music has the power to make or break my day. I have actually had to stop listening to some of my favorite music because while I could relate to it, it really dragged me down the wrong path. Listen to something that pumps you up rather than drags you down.

2) Pray. I pray and read Psalm 25. If you don't have a Bible and want to give it a try, go to: Biblegateway.org
also, a really good verse is Jeremiah 29:11

3) Journal. Channel all of your anger/pain/angst into a burnable journal. Write it down and burn it! Or flush it--just wait until it's soft enough not to clog the drain!Health Question & Answer

Do not worry, its normal to stray.
I stopped when i became happier. I needed an antidepressant to do that though. do you see a doctor.? Are you taking anything.?

Its just a case of changing your first thought from, i want to cut, to lets do something else. But you can practice this and eventually you will find its practice no more your just doing it.

A book I have read is called Healing the hurt within by Jan Sutton, you can find it on amazon.

Throw away all your sharp objects you have, knives, scissors anything you keep around you. close to you ready for when an attack comes on.

girl, just think about what is most important to you in your life, what you like to do, who you love, i know you dont want to hear this, but someday, you could really hurt yourself, even die!...Dont make any mistakes!.....Be strong, try to maybe...take out out anger or depression in other ways, positive ways, that make you a better person!
