It's important to know that your sick it's not something you have any control over whatsoever. I know how you feel I suffer from severe depression and anxiety and I used to think I was just whiny, or stupid and defiantly did not deserve to go see a doctor. I thought it was something I should just be able to snap out of. I'd put myself down all the time and always be sorry for things that weren't my fault or I couldn't control. Finally my boyfriend got me to the doctor about 1 year ago and I'm getting help now and realize its not my fault I'm sick my brain doesn't work properly just like a diabetic can't produce enough insulin its an illness. You'd never tell a diabetic to just get better or that they'd done something wrong to get sick . So don't think you've done anything wrong to bring this on yourself. Health Question & Answer

Nothing is lacking. You can not stop mental illness - it is not something you do that causes it, it not something you did not do that causes it. It just happens.

Just keep trying to do everyday things regularly and talk with your doctor - eventually you will get better.Health Question & Answer
