The name for it is DYSPHORIC mania. This post is only the second time ive ever heard of it refered to as black hypomania/mania. Mania/hypomania can be euphoric (the happy fun end) or dysphoric (the raging angry end)
And even though ive only heard it once before, i did immediatly know what the person ment by it, even though i thought it odd to call it that......can really only understand calling it black mania/hypomania if you been there since most people assume mania/hypomania is a fun high.Health Question & Answer

Black hypomania.? I've never even heard of that. I mean i've heard of hypomania obviously as i go through that but not "black" hypomania. Give sum information on it, sounds interesting
What doctor told you that you have black hypomania.? I cant even find anything about this in the DSMV...

I almost think this is an ethnic joke of some sort. If it doesn't relate to skin color then what could it relate to.? Does black hypomania mean you get a bi-polar feeling while around black folk.? Or instead of being bi-polar you simply become depressed, making it a black hypomania.?
