I want to loose weight SO bad, i look around me and all i see is THIN THIN THIN!! I only eat at dinner with my family, cause i don't have a choice. My friends wonder why they never see me eating. My stomach constantly makes noises throughout the day. Sometimes, when we have a take out (chips/chinese) i eat more than i know i can handle and i get sick :/. is there something wrong with me.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?

You've shrunken your stomach and shocked your metabolism.
Not eating is NOT going to help you lose weight. You need to be eating at least 3 times a day, but even better for you would be eating more like 5 times a day, small meals each time, and always stop eating when you get full (food can be put away and saved for later!!).
Your diet needs to be balanced and you need to be getting at least 1500 calories a day, maybe more if you are active or if you are still growing.
Even if you do lose weight without a balanced diet and exercise, you would look much better if your weight loss regimen included those things. Please don't continue to try and take the easy way out. Your body is not like your friends' bodies. Everyone is different.Health Question & Answer

i was in the same boat, all i used to eat was dinner and my stomach would hurt :[

what you need to do is eat more filling foods, it keeps you full without eating alot, eat bananas, fig nutons, very dense healthy foods they keep you full for long amounts of time :]

eat a banana in the morning to keep you good until lunch then eat somthing else dense for lunch and then have a good dinner and then have somthing dense before bed :]

Sounds like you may be struggling with the beginning of an eating disorder, and if that is true, then I stongle urge you to do something NOW.
Put yourself on a strict diet, Tuna is a great help when losing weight. Eat it raw or with wheat crackers for breakfast lunch and dinner, with small portions of fruits and veggies in between to keep your energy levels up. You are sick the important thing is you need to GET HELP as soon as possible eating disorders are serious and can cause all kinds of health problems.
You should talk to your parents they won't judge you or think any less of you they love you and will want to help you get healthy. If you can't talk to them try your local crisis line or maybe you have an aunt or older cousin or sibling you could talk to more easily.

no, but if you dont exercise AND eat healthy, then your body will become very weak, because if you are just not giving yourself nutrition, as opposed to giving it nutrients, and then burning the rest, then your body will stop functioning properly.

also, guys dont ACTUALLY like super super skinny girls.

its a good idea to eat smaller meals throught the day, because they are easier to burn off then large meals.

ok, i went through the same ordeal..i used to wiegh 260 and 1 year later i am at 165. my advice is small breakfast, small lunch, small dinner plus some very small snacks throughout the day. and, based on your size drink alot of water, and i am stressing the water consumption, it will clense your body daily and it will flush out nutrients that your body didnt need (preventing excess body fat) talk to your doctor about the water though, because too much can be dangerous, i personally drank near 8 tall glasses a day. you also have to incorporate exercise, i on average (once i built up stamina and lost about half the wieght that i lost) did about 60-80 push ups a day. (starting at about 5 a day lol) this was just when i had a free minute at home i would do like 20. all this will allow you to lose near 10 pounds a month and do it in a healthy way (which allows you to keep it off when you stop the dieting)

when you stop eating your metabolism slows down in order to keep you gong with the little nutrients you get from the very little food you eat...so in other words you're making yourself stay chubby by eating so little. if you wanna lose weigh work out and eat healthier...there's no shortcut, pill, or miracle remedy to help you lose weight...sry

you are displaying eating disordered behaviors and thoughts.
-the desire to lose weight
-the starvation
-the over eating (binging)
-the throwing up
these are all signs of anorexia and bulimia.

these are serious diseases and anorexia is the number one killer of adolescent girls in america. you need to go to your family, your doctor and tell them. get into therapy and help yourself. there is no time to dilly dally or try to fix it on your own.

i have been anorexic for over 6 years. it developed when i was 12 and i have been through many hospitals and programs trying to get better. i didn't always want to, i sometimes wish i was still as sick as i was just 12 weeks ago when i entered my most recent hospital, but i know that i will die from this if i don't manage it.

please, get help. manage your illness and get in touch with the REAL issues, like WHY you are hurting youself.
